That means there is a place for you in this work with those experiencing homelessness and we'd love for you to join!
Streets Time
On Thursday mornings, a group comprised of our staff and both housed and unhoused friends walk the streets near our offices, south of Downtown Dallas. It’s a simple and easy way to serve our community, make connections with the people we share it with, and learn about the experiences of others. We don’t bring anything but ourselves. If you look someone in the eye who you might have looked away from before, if you learn someone’s name, if you get or give a smile, then you’ve accomplished all that we ask of our streets time volunteers!
Community prayer
Before we go out for streets time on Thursday mornings, our staff and both housed and unhoused friends gather together at our office for a morning of fellowship and prayer. It’s a time for anyone to come and start their day communing with others and with God. We pray for each other, the community, and we share anything else God puts on our hearts and minds. Whether you only pop in for 10 minutes or you want to stay and join our team to walk the streets afterwards at 10:00AM, we'd love to have you join us.
No sign up is necessary, just come by our office (1808 S. Good Latimer Expy) at 9:15am. All are welcome!

Events are a great way to get to know our housed and unhoused friends as well as other volunteers.
Help us bridge the relational gap and build community by joining us for one of our events—Worship Nights, Come to the Table Meals, and other special events!
